Сable locator kit
Success AG-309.30N
- Designed for precise determination of the location and depth of underground utilities (power and signal cable lines, armored fiber-optic lines, pipelines made of conductive materials), detection of cable line faults, and also allows quick and reliable site inspection before excavation work in order to prevent damage to underground engineering utilities. The kit includes a monoblock receiver with a large LCD display showing the utility route image, while automatically calculating the depth of the utility up to 10 m and the current value in the line. The kit is equipped with the latest compact автономous AG-107 generator with built-in batteries, display, and integrated induction antenna for contactless utility tracing. The generator output power is up to 60 W.
- Determination of the location and depth of hidden underground utilities at depths up to 10 m;
- Utility tracing using a generator at distances up to 5 km;
- Detection of live electrical cables;
- Detection of pipeline and cable crossing points;
- Detection of cable line fault locations;
- Site inspection before excavation work.
- “Route” mode. The main mode for tracing. The display shows the route axis position relative to the device, the laying depth, and the current in the utility line. Route searching is performed in a semi-automatic mode quickly and visually.
- “Graph” mode. In addition to the route position, the display shows a graph of signal level changes at the operating frequency. “Graph” mode is convenient when the signal level is weak or when the electromagnetic field is distorted.
- “Graph+” mode. This mode allows detection of energized power cable lines crossing the traced utility.
- “Minimum/Maximum” mode. Using signal level change graphs, the mode enables precise utility localization. It is also used to identify the centers of several utilities located close to each other.
- “Relative distance to utility” modes. These modes are used when several utilities are located close to each other in order to determine their laying depth.
- “2-frequency” mode. This mode implements the “friend-or-foe” option and also allows diagnostics of cable conditions and pipeline insulation using an external generator.
